Darren Guild

Chief Executive Officer

With over 30 years of experience in Australia’s mining and resources industry, Darren’s expertise lies in the drill and blast sector, covering all main mining commodities plus drilling and blasting for civil projects with stringent close to infrastructure blasting requirements.

Having held senior executive positions in both ASX-listed and private mining services firms, Darren brings a wealth of knowledge to the group. 

Darren has a Bachelor of Business from Swinburne University.

Eric Gobbert

Chief Operating Officer

With over 20 years of diverse experience in the mining industry, Eric has built a robust career spanning drill and blast operations and exploration drilling. He has held pivotal roles from site-based operations to senior management positions with both private and ASX listed contractors.

Eric integrates operational proficiency with keen financial insight, prioritizing client engagement to cultivate repeat business and optimize operational efficiencies. 

Eric has a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University.

Gregg Barnard

Chief Financial Officer

Gregg has over 15 years of experience in taxation and business advisory as well as strategic financial management and business accounting operations.

In his role as CFO, Gregg plays a critical and strategic role, overseeing all financial aspects of the company to ensure sustainable growth and profitability. 

Gregg Barnard is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Commerce.

Jo Maher

Group Manager / People & Culture

With over 25 years of experience in senior HR roles, Jo leads our HR/IR function , ensuring a seamless employee lifecycle across the Company.

A strategic and people-focused leader, Jo has successfully driven Enterprise Agreement negotiations, workforce planning initiatives, and played a pivotal role in large-scale business transformations. 

Her expertise spans employee relations, talent management, change management, and leadership development, all aimed at fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.

Scott Hewat

Group Manager / Assets & Maintenance

With his 30 years of technical experience in HME, fixed plant and utilities across mining, tunnelling and large-scale construction projects both in Australia & overseas, Scott chooses to lead by example with a proactive approach & proven work ethic that can motivate others to achieve results whilst maintaining the availability, reliability, safety & operational performance of the equipment. 

Scott has worked directly for most of the major Tier 1 mining companies and an OEM conducting technical support, asset management and lifecycle strategies.

Nadeem Chahin

Group Manager / Commercial and Business Improvement

Nadeem is a seasoned executive with over 30 years’ experience delivering value across ASX-listed and private companies. Holding an MBA from the University of Western Australia, he has led business transformations, including major merger integrations, cost-saving change programs, and effective governance initiatives. Known for his pragmatic approach to critical risk management, Nadeem consistently drives operational efficiency. A self-described problem solver, he brings a strategic and unique perspective to the resource, engineering, and construction sectors.

Chris Horrocks

General Manager​ - Drill & Blast

With over 20 years ofexperience in the Drill andBlast industry, Chris Horrocks has built a distinguished career within Australia'smining sector and civil construction industry. He has held senior roles with some ofthe industry’s leadingcontractors. ​

His expertise extends tosensitive drill and blastoperations, with extensivework for Tier 1 miners on civil construction projects. His experience includes complex and specialised projects, such as proximity rail blasting, Main Roads WA projects, sensitiveheritage and residentialblasting.​

Ryan Edwards​

Operations Manager​ - Drill & Blast

Ryan Edwards is a highly experienced Drill & Blast Operations Manager with over 16 years in hard rock mining and civil construction throughout Western Australia. ​

This deep, practical knowledge is backed by formal qualifications, including Site Senior Executive (SSE), Quarry Manager certification, a Diploma of Surface Operations Management, and a Certificate IV in Drilling Operations.

With 20 years of direct drilling industry experience complemented by over 12 years of dedicated service within our organization, Kyle Lawrence has held a range of key roles to support the needs of the business with leveraging specialist knowledge in operational management, setting & maintaining safety standards, regulatory compliance, and technical expertise. ​

Kyle is committed to ensuringour operations are adequately resourced and drilling processes optimized for efficiency, compliance and productivity. ​

Brad Fallon

Operations Manager​

Brad Fallon has over 10 yearsof operational experience having built his career from the ground up, progressing through all site-based operational roles plus FieldTrainer, Compliance Advisor, and Field Supervisor. With hands-on experience from major Tier 1 mining operations to small-scale exploration programs, Brad brings deep operational knowledge and practical leadership to the team.​

Luke Pember​

Luke Pember brings over 20 years of comprehensive experience in the drilling industry, with a backgroundspanning both contracting and client-side roles.​

Throughout his career, Luke has accumulated extensive expertise across various drilling disciplines, including RC and Diamond drilling, with a specific focus on water well drilling over the past five years. His expertise spans multiple regions, both domestically and internationally.​

Chris Hamilton has over 30 years of experience in the drilling industry. Starting as a Driller’s Assistant before moving into senior operational and supervisory roles in both Australia and internationally. ​

Since 2010, Chris has overseen operational activities of theWaterwell business ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services in line withcompany procedures. ​

​

With extensive experience in RC and Diamond drilling, his primary focus for the past 15 years has been Water well operations.​
