Darren Guild
Chief Executive Officer
With over 30 years of experience in Australia’s mining and resources industry, Darren’s expertise lies in the drill and blast sector, covering all main mining commodities plus drilling and blasting for civil projects with stringent close to infrastructure blasting requirements.
Having held senior executive positions in both ASX-listed and private mining services firms, Darren brings a wealth of knowledge to the group.
Darren has a Bachelor of Business from Swinburne University.

Eric Gobbert
Chief Operating Officer
With over 20 years of diverse experience in the mining industry, Eric has built a robust career spanning drill and blast operations and exploration drilling. He has held pivotal roles from site-based operations to senior management positions with both private and ASX listed contractors.
Eric integrates operational proficiency with keen financial insight, prioritising client engagement to cultivate repeat business and optimise operational efficiencies.
Eric has a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University.

Nadeem Chahin
Group Manager - Commercial and Business Improvement
Nadeem is a seasoned executive with over 30 years’ experience delivering value across ASX-listed and private companies. He has led business transformations, including major merger integrations, cost-saving change programs, and effective governance initiatives.
Known for his pragmatic approach to critical risk management, Nadeem consistently drives operational efficiency. A self-described problem solver, he brings a strategic and unique perspective to the resource, engineering, and construction sectors.
Nadeem has an MBA from the University of Western Australia.

Ryan Edwards
General Manager - Drill & Blast
Bringing over 16 years of experience across Western Australia’s mining and civil sectors, Ryan’s expertise lies in drill and blast operations within hard rock environments.
Having held senior operational leadership roles, Ryan brings deep practical knowledge in managing complex drilling and blasting programs, underpinned by a strong focus on safety, compliance, and performance outcomes.
Ryan holds Site Senior Executive (SSE) and Quarry Manager certifications, along with a Diploma of Surface Operations Management and a Certificate IV in Drilling Operations.

Adam Rennie
General Manager - Exploration & Waterwell
With over 25 years of experience in Australia’s drilling industry, Adam’s expertise spans multipurpose and exploration drilling, including the delivery of major Tier 1 contracts and the leadership of large, diverse teams nationwide.
Having commenced his career as an offsider in the late 1990s and progressed into senior operational roles, Adam brings deep practical knowledge and a strong track record in driving safe, high-quality outcomes across complex drilling programs.
Adam holds a Certificate IV in Mineral Exploration and a Certificate IV in Leadership & Management.

Jon Coleman
HSEQT Manager
Drawing on over 15 years of experience across exploration drilling, drill and blast, local government, and correctional services throughout Australia, Jon’s expertise lies in HSEQT leadership, with a strong focus on organisational risk management and integrated safety systems.
With a background in operations, Jon brings a practical understanding of field-based risk and the application of safety frameworks in complex environments, supported by a track record in developing robust, audit-ready systems aligned with operational realities.
Jon holds a Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from Edith Cowan University and is qualified in Management System Auditing (AU, TL, OH) and Injury Management (RTWSA). He is also a credentialled Lead Investigator (ICAM) and has completed the Advanced Safety Professional Practice (ASPP) program.

Sarah Starling
Human Resources Manager
With over 15 years of experience primarily across mining and manufacturing environments, Sarah brings practical and operationally focused human resources expertise to BWE Drilling.
Sarah provides end‑to‑end HR leadership across employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, site mobilisation, policy development, and payroll, working closely with operational leaders to ensure workforce practices are compliant, consistent, and fit for purpose with a strong focus on strengthening systems and improving processes.
Sarah supports the development of scalable people frameworks that enable effective leadership, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth across the business.

Nathan Crookes
Assets & Maintenance Manager
Backed by extensive experience in asset management and maintenance leadership, Nathan’s expertise lies in equipment reliability, lifecycle management, and maintenance optimisation across mining operations.
Having held leadership roles across OEMs and Tier 1 mining companies, most recently as a General Manager, Nathan brings a practical, data-driven approach to maximising equipment availability, controlling costs, and supporting safe, efficient operations, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and long-term asset value.
Nathan holds a Diploma in Asset Management and a Diploma in Frontline Management from the Australian Institute of Management, along with a Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting (1st Class) from TAFE NSW.

Steve Panton
Technical Service Manager
With over 20 years in Australia’s drill and blast industry, Steve’s expertise lies in delivering technically robust and commercially sound solutions across civil construction and open cut mining projects.
Having built a strong reputation in controlled blasting within vibration-sensitive environments, Steve brings deep technical capability across blast design, fragmentation optimisation, and initiation systems, underpinned by a clear understanding of operational and commercial drivers.
Steve is recognised for his detail-driven approach and ability to deliver complex blasting programs in technically demanding environments, where precision, safety, and client outcomes are critical.

Bringing over 19 years of experience across all aspects of business development, Suleiman’s expertise spans field-based roles through to senior leadership within Australia’s mining and drilling sector.
With a strong track record in stakeholder engagement, pricing, marketing, and branding, he is recognised for aligning people, strategy, and commercial outcomes to drive sustainable growth across both greenfield and brownfield operations.
Suleiman holds an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business and is known for his commercial discipline, strategic insight, and commitment to delivering value through trusted, high-quality relationships.
